In the sea: dangerous to calm
Bismillah,
Do you all remember the series we had started?
In the sea one in which we were all doing a voyage together?
We were doing our adventure on a ship called Arbella, we were to cross the green line (rough seas), red line (storms) and blue line (calm seas). In our series, we had reached the red line.
This is the map... When we reach the mystery island it'll be very, very exciting.
These are some more details (just in case you don't remember it):
It'll take 2 days to cross the green line, 3 days for the red line, and one day for the blue line.
The main character's name is Sarah and Sarah's sister's name is Sana.
These are the links to the series, just in case you wanna revise or haven't read it.

These are all, now I will start today's episode.
The hefty waves became smaller, it was because it was our last day in the red line. But that didn't mean there would be clear seas yet. After a breakfast of beans and coffee, Sana and I were in the cabin. Sana was making endless videos, it seemed to me her phone had a limitless pit of videos and photos. And anyway, the view outside the windows in the red lines was usually the same, so why make videos? And anyway, her photos are not good, at least not as good as mine.
And what was I doing? Well, I was making notes of the facts I learned about the Pacific Ocean I learned about from the captain in my notebook.
That goes something like this...
•Pacific means peace
•the known depth of the Pacific is 11,034 m
•Grey whales only live in the Pacific, that's why they are sometimes called the Pacific whale.
I stuck a picture of a grey whale breathing I took from the captain.
This photo might seem fake to many... But it's 100% true. Unlike other whales, grey whales have two blowholes which make their breath look like a heart. And it's the oil in their breath that catches the sunlight and makes it look like a rainbow.
The notes were done and I lay on my back on my bed, trying to get some sleep and thinking about what else I could do. Ah hah! I could go out of my room!
I sprang out of my bed and Sana asked
“Where are ya going?"
“just outside " I replied
Sana nodded and said she was hungry so she was coming with me.
Sana went to the dining room to ask the workers there for something to eat. While I went to the deck.
Looking around, I smiled at the sea. It was afternoon and even beneath the clouds, the sun tried to seep through, making the clouds look orange. Down at the ocean, there was foam and grey, and as the sea reflected the sky, the water looked orangish–grey. It was so pretty, who was I? To think that there was nothing to see in the ship?
As we were closing to the blue line (yay!) there was an internet connection and I could track white-beak. I went back to the room to find that Sana was waiting for me.
“Where had you gone? "
“to the deck" I replied, while I was looking for my tablet.
Sana then said
“well there's nothing to see out there, anyway I found some burgers so I brought one for you, in case you are hungry, huh? "
I sighed, Sana always knew what I needed at the right time, I thanked her and took the burger from her. Then I told her
“look out of the window, and then take photos of it out on the deck. It's a scene one doesn't get to see often... Sun VS clouds! "
Sana looked out of the window and then ran out of the room, she was gonna like that orangish-grey sea and orange clouds.
After I ate up my burger, I took my tablet and opened the happy whales website. White beak was there, just near our ship, but again, whales never go in the red line! What if... What if she wants to be near us? No, but then she's gonna get lost, away from her pod. I have to do something.
I knocked at the captain's door and I told him everything, he asked
“so you mean... That the whale who had saved you from getting lost out the sea... Is following this ship?"
“yes, and we've got to do something about it," I said
The captain sighed and said
“Well, there's nothing we could do... We will reach the blue line tomorrow and then ur white beak will find her course, anyway, whales know all about the oceans and their routes. So don't worry," He then went inside and I went back to my room.
“but how can I not worry?! There's a whale out there who is gonna get lost... And he is telling me not to worry" I said to Sana after our dinner.
"Well, I understand your concern but we can't turn the ship to take her back to her... Pod? We have to research our mystery island. White Beak's pod must be somewhere near, maybe somewhere they are going includes the red line? Maybe your whale detector isn't showing the other whales? That could happen, couldn't it? "
I said nothing. It could happen, it was not impossible.
Sana closed off the lights and we both lay on our beds. The ship was not moving there from here... The sea was calm.
I hope you liked today's post.
See you all tomorrow with another amazing episode!
Get ready for calm seas!
