In The Ocean: Red Line
Bismillah,
Let's start!
The water became rougher, and the ship dolled violently. Everybody sat in their cabin. But not me. I still went to the railing. I could see the blue ocean, the grey clouds and the white foam. Suddenly a small wave came and showered me with salty water.
The captain told us that we had reached the red line. Today, the weather will stay like this. No worries. But tomorrow the weather will be bad. We'll encounter a sea storm. For sure. Passing the red line will take us three days because the storm will slow the ship.
I went to my cabin and slept. There was nothing else to do or sight because there were rarely any whales in this area. But I still checked Happywhales to track white beak. She was away from the green line. But not in the red line. Maybe she went somewhere for food, but I was looking forward to meeting her again.
When I woke up in the evening. The sunset watching was canceled because of the grey clouds that hid the sun out of view. But still..... I saw a small orange speck. Lighting the sky.
It was good I had packed my novels. I really didn't thought I'd get bored. But turned out I was entirely wrong. The storm was all the same. I couldn't track White Beak either, because the network was low in the red line.
As I was reading in my cabin, I thought I had seen a whale's tail from the cabin's window. But that was impossible, for there were no whales in this area.
It got dark. And it was dinner time. I ate my dinner, read some more. Waited for the happy whales website to get loaded so I could try tracking white beak once more.
After that, I slept.
Liked this part? Although it didn't had any thing that much. The fifth part will be interesting. In sha Allah.
Share your thoughts and feedbacks.
And tell me who do you think that whale like tail was.
Stay tuned for more.
Salam...
Sidra Khan.
