Mystrey Island: Danger

The girls nod and go in the kitchen, I say that I'm checking on the fox, and go inside the room. 

The fox was a she. Her body was bronze (a shade of red). Her tail was bushy and beautiful. Her eyes opened. 

She got up and looks at me. I give her a piece of pumpkin and she eat it up. She now knew she could trust us, I stroked her back. She made a sound and licked my hand. 

I knew what I could name her

Her name is Amber. 

But I heard a distant sound. 

And it sounded like a gunshot. 

Starting: Mystery Island: DANGER

I gasp and drop the cream, that sounded so very like a gunshot, it could've been a tree branch breaking or something, so I can't be sure.

Amber growled, not at me, but at whatever the sound was. It was a growl of fear, not trusting Amber's instincts I left her lots of food and water and closed the door behind me.

Outside everyone is sitting on the dinner table, their faces filled with fear. They heard the gunshot, then.

"We have to leave immediately, everyone go pack everything, We will take Amber as she is very wounded and leave the snake. Pack all the supplies and food, this please is not safe" The captain ordered. I have no problem with it and was just going towards my room when with a jolt I remembered the sole reason of me being here.

"But what about my brother?" I asked the captain, who made a motion for me to sit down.

He sighed and said

"Sarah, look, if we escaped unscathed and are able to tell the police what happened here, they will be able to come and see what's really going on, and if your brother is really on this island then I am sure that he will be found too. Right now, your life matters, please go and pack"

I nod sullenly and went to my room, throwing all of my clothes and stuff in my bag untidily. Sana was folding hers in neat squares but looked just like I felt.

I then went to the storeroom and put Amber in the biggest basket I could fine, lining it with soft materials. With the help of the other girls we took the supplies and some other notes of the previous people.

Soon all the bags, boxes, packets and baskets formed a pile near the door.

"Everyone take their stuff and lets go now" The captain said, taking a box and a bag.

I held Amber's basket, hanged a packet on my shoulder and dragged my suitcase with my other hand. Soon everyone took the stuff, Allen coaxed the snake out and locking the cabin behind us, we started our endless hike towards the jetty.

After what felt like an eternity and countless scares, we finally reached the ocean, but the ship wasn't there. Nor was any sign of it present.

We all looked at each other, our faces filled with horror. 

  Looking around we split up and looked around the foliage. No ship or anything related to it, I heard a cry of horror which belonged to Sana and we all ran towards it. In front of us was the pile of our ship on dry land

I hope you liked today's episode. And because I left it on a cliff-hanger and the next episode might come late, I will give a sneak peak of what will happen in the next.

So, they will be stranded and Sarah will uncover some mysterious stuff and bond with Amber. The team will read Rio's notes and dairy entries... and find out what dangerous thing is really lurking around the island.

Oops, I did another cliff hanger, I love writing cliff-hangers (but not reading them!) because it ensures that my amazing readers come again.
