Amazon 42: Harpy Eagles

 Bismillah,

Remember the post I once published? Named the introduction to Amazon? Well if u haven't read it yet, then I say you might as well visit this link and read it: https://explolersidra.blogspot.com/2023/10/amazon42an-introduction-of-amazon.html

So, now let's start today (intersting) Post!!!

About harpy eagles...

What are harpy eagles exactly, and what do they have to do with the Amazon? You might say, well let me tell you.

Harpy eagles are furious and skilled hunters of the Amazon, they are grey, and have very very big talons, bigger then black bears I suppose. Here is the claw comparison of a human hand and a harpy eagle's claw:

Erm, are u sure monsters don't exist?

Harpy eagles can hunt monkeys, sloths, fish, caypabaras and even snakes! But not humans. Open your arms, as wide as you can, this is how big a harpy eagle's wingspan is when it's flying. Pretty big, right?

Harpy eagles are also excellent parents.

Harpy eagles are the biggest eagle in the world. They are the most powerful bird of prey in the Amazon. That's why they are my favourite eagle.

But unfortunately, as many animals, harpy eagles are very endangered. Hunters still hunt them, and when the trees are being cut, where will these magnificent bird live?

But there are efforts to save them.

That's it for today, bye!

Salam,

Sidra khan
