Story: The Jungle Trail

 Bismillah,

You know, I always wanted to go to a jungle, or hike or spot animals or identify animal tracks but I didn't know that I would have this adventure all rolled into one!

Let me explain...

The first rays of sunlight hit the windows and bumped into the room, and it raised my hopes too. As there was no sunlight before so we couldn't go to the jungle trail, but now... I could go there!

After that was folding blankets and me packing my notebook, my pen, my small sizceor and my magnifying glass.

We jumped into the car and drove off navigating through the streets we reached the bird sanctuary park and on the other side was the nature/jungle trail.

When I entered through the gate I heard a very sweet sound of a bird as if it was welcoming us to the jungle.

There was a guard inside sitting on a chair, he eyed us but didn't say anything. We walked off...

I ran up to the trail, but quietly, not wanting to disturb any creatures. We were just like guests, and guests don't disturb anyone, right?

Then, something moved. A brown seldom deer! With no antlers... So it was a girl-deer. She raised her head and looked at us, but she walked her nose to the ground (probably looking for something nice to eat)

We also saw a red junglefowl... Which looks something like this:

"It's a wild hen! "

You can call it that...

Then we saw a wolf!

It looked like this...

I'm just kidding... It was a dog! Which followed us to a big tower.

Maybe it mustn't be called a tower... It was like a high shelter. You had to climb... Stairs in a circle which seemed quite scary (but not for me) anyways I climbed first.

It had three seats in it and a space to walk around. It also had a grill to lean over. And the view from up there was...

Magnificent!

Then we went down as we had to go soon (I didn't want to go... Not so early, anyway) there was a seat near that shelter tower my parents sat there but I decided to explore the hills near the seat.

There was a small path between the hills and I followed it (taking care to keep my parents in sight). And there I saw a couple of red jungle fowls and then I came back. Near the bench were some tracks, which I think belonged to a deer, and then I saw a big print, which I think belonged to a blue bull.

On our way back, we saw a glamorous blue peacock, far away, but he was very pretty.

We had seen a couple of deer, but they were all female, I wanted to see a deer with atlanters... And you know what? We saw one!

So we went away from the trail with a promise to come back again...
