The Arctic

 Bismillah,

The Arctic has always fascinated me. A place untouched by humans, so it's a lot prettier! A place full of endless snow, polar bears, arctic foxes, arctic wolves, arctic hares, walruses... Musk ox. Many whales also live in the Arctic Ocean, like beluga whales, bowhead whales, Narwhals, there are some others. But in the place of vast snow, birds also live in there, like puffins, snowy owls, arctic terns common eider, and purple sandpiper. So never think the Arctic is like a cold desert full of nothing, for it's a place full of... Life!

You might be thinking penguins must also live here. Well, I want to tell you the shocking truth that polar bears have never tasted penguins as penguins live on another side of the world, Antarctica!

Researchers and tourists go in the Arctic Circle, some people also live in Norway, a place in the Arctic Circle.

The Arctic has a rare phenomenon called aroura, it's also found in Antartica. Arouras are also called northern lights, here are some pictures

Greens are the most common colour, the other colours also happen sometimes.

You know, the most famous thing about artic are Husky Rides!

Like when someone wanna go exploring, they have to go in the lure deep wilderness, where cars can't reach. So people rely on huskies as their transport. Just like horses are strapped to the carriages behind them. Servarl huskies (huskies are a strong breed of dogs) are strapped to sleds behind them, see this picture and you'll get the idea:

The heavier the load, the more Huskies you need!

I think, I'll also like to have an husky ride, and go on a tour around the wilderness. The arctic might be dangerous but it's also very fetching!

It might be also very cold there
Would like to go exploring there? If yes, then for what would you look for? What will you do there?

Salam,
Sidra khan
