My book
Bismillah,
I really wanted to tell you all about my book...
These are the characters in my book
Sarah: A girl with brown hair and blue eyes. Sarah can read the animal's minds. But when she turns 11. Her power increases to her being able to understand what animals are saying. But Sarah has not told anybody about her powers.
Animals had understood her always.
Sana: Sarah's twin sister.
Ali: The caretaker of Sarah's exotic pet, baghia.
The hunters: The enemies in the book.
Animal characters
Baghia: is a beautiful black jaguar with green eyes. Living peacefully in the Amazon rainforest. Until she and her cub are captured and Sarah's dad buys her.
She also has the power to understand what humans are saying.
Eva: Is Baghia's cub.
Bagheera: Is Baghia's mate. But was not captured and later makes an appearance in the book.
Luna and Rory: are Baghia's normal jaguar friends. Their cubs were captured just two days before baghia and Eva were captured.
The story, I think will have lots of animals and human characters as it goes towards the finishing line. I'm thinking of adding some Amazon adventure to the book. Adventures make books very interesting.
In the book. Baghia and Sarah will become friends. And as bonds and friendship between humans and animals is unusual indeed. I named this book "Unusual Friendship" I think this title is very nice. Do you think the same.......?
I'm thinking of making leopards and hunters enemies. Because leopards are aggressive and hunters who hunt or capture animals, and I don't like that at all. So that's all that matters.
The idea of a bond between humans and animals was given to me by the books written by Hannah Gold. The last bear, Finding Bear and the last whale. I had also read a book named "The Wolf Wilders" by Katherine Rundell in which a girl is deeply bonded to wolves. The book The Last Bear tells us about a girl who is bonded deeply to a polar bear, while The Finding Bear is part two of The Last Bear. The Last Whale is a book about a boy bonded to a whale.
I've seen that all books have something in common, that people were shocked by the bond. Because people think that animals, especially wild ones. Cannot be friendly.
But, the truth is. That if we are loving and caring towards them, they'll do the same to us...
Salam,
Sidra khan
