A tame parrot

 Bismillah,

Now, ma sha Allah. My female parrot Montaha (or, her other name is Tweety) is tame.

Now, you might ask. What is tame? OK, let me tell you.

Tame is usually used for animals and birds that will not harm people and are not afraid of people too.

Like, for example, a pet lion.

But the word "tame" isn't only used for wild animals that are domesticated. It can also be used for pet animals and birds becoming more friendly towards its owner.

And that's the same thing with Montaha.

1. She likes to cling on my clothes.

2. She likes to sit on my shoulder, then attack my glasses, or earings (ow! )

3. She also likes to bite any shiny thing, like addornings

and pearls found on clothes.

4. I sometimes, hold her. And put her on my finger, she stays there, if she's not in an excited mood.

5. Her voice is very cute, when I take her out from her cage. She tries to grab the bar of the cage. I think she says at that time "LEAVE ME ALONEEE!!! YOU"

6. When I leave her a little away from her cage, she just walks or fly to the cage (she actually likes her cage).

7. She sometimes eat bread from my hand, or birdseed.

8. Even if she flies away, I catch her, because she can't fly properly.

9. If she bites, she does it very lightly.

Ma sha Allah

But, all the things are always done inside the house.

Do you like the photo?

The bird is Montaha.

Oh, when I read, I sometimes have Montaha with me.

Salam,

Sidra khan
