Poem: The Start Of My Day

 Bismillah..

The Sun rose over the horizon, 

Just outside my balcony. 

And the birds twittered 'good-mornings! '

To me 

I heard a gush of a wind. 

That swept my hair to my face

And the trees moved in the wind

And they waved at me! 

I heard the eagles giving a call, 

And the crows cawing. 

I saw people walking in the Park, 

And the children going to school. 

And so my day, got a happy start! 

Too happy
