An introduction to wolves

Wolves are very social, the thing they are famous for, is they follow the golden rule of life, eat whatever is available, now I don't mean leaves fruits or grass, I mean any sort of meat they find, rotten meat, leftover prey of an another animal, I mean any sort of meat they find, any! They live in the freezing places of the Arctic, Asia, America and Europe. They can live in habitats like, temperate forests, tundra, deserts, snow, mountains, taiga and grasslands. But do not think these animals have no enemies, polar bears, grizzly bears, and in the top, humans, hunt them, for food, or humans hunt them for their fur. So let's dive into the world of these amazing creatures.

Types of wolves

There are. Many many types of wolves, so I'll give you a list, and not give a detail.

1. Artic wolves

2. Grey wolves

3. Tundra wolves

4. Indian wolves

5. Great Plains wolf

6. Red American wolves

There are more, but this is enough.

A wolf's pack

So as I had told you, a wolf is very social, these are some members a wolf pack has

1. Pups

2. She wolves

3. He wolves

4.  Strong wolves

5. Weak wolves

6. Alpha

So I'll tell you about how a wolf travels with its pack. In the first row, there are strong wolves, in the second row, there are weak wolves, in the between, there are pups, and the most important, in the last is, Alpha (the leader of the pack).

Alpha

The alpha is the leader, the one who makes decisions and decides what the pack will hunt, and where they'll go. Alpha is typically The strongest and the largest, although an alpha doesn't need to be the largest. How do you tell a wolf if it's an alpha? An alpha keeps its head and tail high, it has a watchful eye over everything. There's one thing I want to add, that alpha can be a FEMALE or a MALE, and if that A male Alpha has an wife,You'd call them 'the alpha pair' an alpha pair always works together to run the pack

Hunting tactics

Oh yes!

Num 1 tactic: When hunting a large prey, a wolf pack separates and surrounds it prey, giving it no chance to escape

Num 2 tactic: when a pack surrounds it's prey, it bites and kills it.

Num 3 tactic: If the prey is small and fact, they have to run behind it.

The most useful tactic: Pack

A wolf usually hunts rabbits, deer, bison, moose and beaver, or whatever prey is available for them.

Epilogue

Do you know why a wolf is my favourite? Howling? No, beauty? No, a wolf is my second favourite because of it's unity with it's pack, see, hunting gets a lot easier for a wolf because of it's pack, taking care of it's little ones get easier for it because of it's pack. If we take a lesson for us out of a wolf's life, is unity, if we humans get united. Then nobody will dare to harm us. Just like wolves.

What's your favourite will breed? Mine is the artic an grey wolf, what's yours?
