Space63: Neutron Stars

Bismillah...

Neutron stars are wonderful, even more wonderful than black holes, or just anything. They are one of my favourite things in the universe.

So do you want to know what exactly these things are?  Let me tell you. When a big star starts to die, it becomes a red supergiant, and then it explodes into a supernova, sometimes after the supernova, a black hole forms, or...... Neutron stars.

Let me tell you some facts about these outstanding creations of Allah.

Most neutron stars are very fast rotators (one of them even spinning 700 hundred times in a second)

•Neutron stars are very hot, and very dense, hotter than our sun, and if we could bring a small pebble piece of a neutron star, it would weigh more than Mount Everest.

Neutron stars are not very massive, yup, despite their weight and hotness, they are limited to the size of a big city.

The Milky Way has about 100 million neutron stars, yeah, but I'm sure there might be more.

Even though they are small, they can even host planets! And their gravity is no lesser than a black hole!

Hope you liked this n-e-u-t-r-o-n--s-t-a-r surprise.

Your explorer,

Sidra Khan.
