Plastic is the most harmful material in this world ever.
You know what I mean, and I'm sure you know about the disadvantages of plastic.

• Animals eat plastics and die, over 90% per cent of seabirds have plastic in their stomachs.
• Plastics cause many fire hazards.
• While recycling or making plastics, it makes dirty and poisoned gasses which causes air pollution.
• It's cost of recycling is very high.
There are many more that I'm not discussing about, I'll discuss the points given.
Plastics are used in food packages, eating food out of plastic containers may cause cancer.
Yes, this one's true, you might be really shocked in hearing Bisphenol A, more commonly known as BPA, is a chemical that, according to the United States Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, has been used for years in the production of certain plastics to make them more durable and shatter-resistant. Unfortunately, BPA can also make them potential health hazards, including cancer, so please try to avoid buying food that have plastic packaging.
Animals eat plastics and die, over 90% per cent of seabirds have plastics in their stomachs.
The number of birds found to have plastic in their stomachs has increased from 5% in 1960 to 80% in 2010, and an estimated 90% of all seabirds alive today have eaten plastic of some kind, according to a research paper published today in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS).
100 million marine animals die each year from plastic waste alone. 100,000 marine animals die from getting entangled in plastic yearly – these are just the creatures we find! 1 in 3 marine mammal species gets found entangled in litter, and 12-14,000 tons of plastic are ingested by North Pacific fish yearly.
Plastics cause many fire hazards.
Because of its burning characteristics, it has contributed to rapid flame spread in several fatal fires. Burning of plastics may produce large quantities of thick, black smoke.
While recycling or making plastics, it makes dirty and poisoned gasses which causes air pollution.
Burning plastic waste is common: Almost 40% of plastic waste globally is burned, releasing toxins into the air. This leads to an increased risk of cardiovascular diseases and respiratory ailments and can also damage the nervous system.
It's cost of recycling is cost of recycling is very high.
Waste management experts say the problem with plastic is that it is expensive to collect and sort. There are now thousands of different types of plastic, and none of them can be melted down together. Plastic also degrades after one or two uses. Greenpeace found the more plastic is reused the more toxic it becomes.
Well, friends the last one you see is It's cost of recycling is cost of recycling is very high, Friends the cost is high for factories, not if we recycle at home.
It's difficult to get plastics out of our homes completely, but we could still do something. It has to be, these are some points that might help you.
• You can use paper or cloth bags for shopping, instead of plastic bags.
• Don't use unrecyclable plastic if the alternative exists.
• Replace plastic tapware (utensils) with steel or glass ones.
One small act can make a huge difference!
