Nature 23: Black Panthers

As you go deeper into the wilderness..

A creature that hides in the shawdows..

Is waiting for you to come a little closer

So it could.

Pounce on you..!

Yes friends, it's the black panther.

Now what is this black panther?

You must be thinking. Let me tell you about it.

Now as I had told in the first paragraph that black Panthers hide in the shadows, yes friends, it is true, but black panthers are such a rare site that in every shadow couldn't be a black panther.

So if we go towards their physical appearance, it has a black coloured coat (even their name tells that), not just black, but dark black. Enough black  for it to hide in the shades.

It has emerald green eyes, a black nose, strong, curved claws, big and strong jaws and flexible body.

So where does this blacky lives? Let me tell you..

Hence, most of the species of Black panthers are found in the South and the areas of Southeast Asia. When it comes to black panther habitats, they are mostly found in Burma, Southwestern China, Southern India, Nepal, Indonesia, and other locations.

So how do black Panthers hunt?

Black Panthers are excellent hunters, they usually hunt at night, sometimes climbing a tree and waiting for a prey to come in it's reach, so it could pounce on the prey followed by a strong bite to the neck or the spine, which makes the prey die, sometimes they hide in the shadows, which makes them almost impossible to see, and when the prey comes closer to the shadow....you must know what would happen after that, panthers are also known for their intelligence which helps them in many ways.

You must be a bit scared after listening to this hunting tactic (well I'm). But freinds, theirs nothing to worry about because....

In some extremely rare cases, panthers attack humans. However, humans hunt panthers much more frequently than panthers ever feed on people, and as such panthers have learned to avoid interacting with humans as much as possible.

See? Humans beings harm panthers more than panthers harms us,it's the humans who are the threats to all kind of animals, not animals to humans.

Do you know what black panthers eat?

 A black panther shows off its massive fangs that it uses to tear apart prey. Panthers are nocturnal carnivores, meaning they are mostly active at night and only feed on the meat and flesh of other animals.

 Nearly 70 Percent of a panther's diet comes from deer, wild hogs and raccoons. Domesticated animals such as goats, sheep and calves are taken by panthers in areas where this prey is available.

Anyway, if you ever go where these live, please be aware of the shadows
